DR. KRISHNENDRA MEENA

Dr. Krishnendra Meena is an Associate Professor at the Centre for International
Politics, Organization and Disarmament, School of International Studies,
Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His research interests include Borders,
BRICS, and Indian Ocean region. He has published on these topics in leading
international journals and regularly contributes to newsmagazines. He is the
author of a book entitled British Geopolitics in the South Atlantic. He currently
serves as the Secretary General, Society for Indian Ocean Studies, New Delhi. Dr.
Meena has been visiting fellow at the BRICS Policy Centre, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
He regularly participates in international and national conferences. At CIPOD,
JNU, he teaches courses on Political Geography and Geopolitics.
