Media Release on the Conclusion of Memorandum of Understanding between ICWA, New Delhi, and IICA, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, 4 September 2025

The Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) concluded an MoU for cooperation with the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA), Tashkent at an online interaction held on 4 September 2025. The MoU provides for academic collaboration and joint activities such as research, publication, dialogue and seminars on agreed themes related to bilateral India-Uzbek relations, India-Central Asia ties and international affairs. The MoU was signed by Ms. Nutan Kapoor Mahawar, Acting Director General & Additional Secretary, ICWA and Amb. Javlon Vakhabov, Managing Director, International Institute for Central Asia, Tashkent in the presence of Shri Sone Lal Mallik, Charge d’Affaires, Embassy of India, Tashkent and H.E. Mr. Sardor M Rustambaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India.
