Indian Council of World Affairs

Indian Council of World Affairs (1CWA), an institute of national importance under the ICWA Act, 2001, located at Barakhamba Road, New Delhi 110001, and Mahatma Gandhi University, a State University established in 1983 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, located at Priyadarshini Hills P.0, Kottayam, Kerala, have agreed to collaborate in pursuit of their goal of expanding awareness and knowledge on international affairs and Indian foreign policy.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 10th May 2024 between ICWA and Mahatma Gandhi University, which will be valid for a period of three years.

The objective of the MoU is to organise studies and seminars on agreed topics on international affairs and Indian foreign policy and both parties have agreed to collaborate in the following manner:

1. Organizing joint events;
   
   
2. Undertaking joint studies through mutually agreed modalities on issues of common interest;
   
   
3. If requested by Mahatma Gandhi University, ICWA will consider offering internships to students of Mahatma Gandhi University, aimed at building their capacity / skills in international affairs and foreign policy.
