Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), an institute of national importance under the ICWA Act, 2001, located at Barakhamba Road, New Delhi and Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani), an Institution Deemed to be University, located at Pilani, Rajasthan, have agreed to collaborate in pursuit of their goal of expanding awareness and knowledge on international affairs and Indian foreign policy.
Hon'ble Vice-President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar recently visited BITS Pilani on 27 September 2023 and had announced an MoU of ICWA with BITS Pilani. Hon'ble Vice-President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar is the President of ICWA.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 26th October 2023 between ICWA and BITS Pilani, which will be valid for a period of three years.
The objective of the MoU will be to organize studies and seminars on agreed topics on international affairs and Indian foreign policy and both parties have agreed to collaborate in the following manner:
