ICWA’s Scheme to widen awareness about
India’s role in international affairs

The captioned scheme aims to increase and widen awareness about foreign policy and international politics in general as well as India’s foreign policy perspectives in particular among university students. This goal will be achieved through an array of activities to be organized by interested Central and State Universities, particularly their Departments of Political Science & International Studies, in collaboration with ICWA.

The proposed activities will include Essay competitions, Paper reading contests, Debates and Panel discussions, etc. Subjects for such intellectual activities will be mutually worked out by the host institution and ICWA.

In order to meet the expenditure on organizing an event of the above kind, ICWA, on receipt of a suitable proposal, will be ready to extend financial support up to maximum of Rupees One lakh. A part of the sanctioned amount will be given to the institution in advance, and the remaining amount will be released on completion of the activity and submission of a report by the institution.
