Membership
The library Consultation membership is open for academicians,
parliamentarians, diplomats, senior civil servants, journalists,
subject experts and other members of the public with a
nominal fee of Rs 1200.00 per annum. Students pursuing
a Doctoral degree or M. Phil from any recognized college
or university may be enrolled as Student consulting member
of the Library by paying a discounted fee of Rs.600/-
only. This membership is subject to the production of
an introductory letter from the Head of the Department
/ Guide/ Principal of the University/ College concerned
and a residential proof. Both types of memberships are
valid for one year. The borrowing facilities are restricted
and are available against a security deposit of Rs.2800/-(refundable
after withdrawal of the membership). Members can borrow
two books at a time returnable on or before fourteen days.
However, the Director- General/Librarian reserves the
right to grant/cancel the membership of any person without
assigning any reason.
REPROGRAPHIC SERVICES:
The photocopying services are also available to bonafide members of the ICWA Library on nominal charges provided documents are required for private use only and that would not be sold or reproduced without the permission of the copyright holder.
LIBRARY TIMINGS:
The Library of the Council is open Monday thru’ Friday for users from 8.30 A.M. to 8.30 P.M. On weekends and holidays, it remains open between 9 A.M. and 5.30 P.M. The Library is closed on the Holi festival and all the three national holidays i.e. Republic Day, Independence Day and Gandhi Jayanti.
